Jay Aaronson, CPA, MBA
Jay Aaronson has over 25 years of experience addressing the mission critical needs of those individuals responsible for running small to medium size businesses. He is one of Sage Software’s long standing Certified Consultants. In his capacity as a CPA and consultant, Jay has extensive experience helping his clients improve operational efficiency, leading to increased productivity, cash flow, and profits. He has often filled the role of CFO/Controller, responsible for preparing financial reports, business plans, operating budgets, cash flow, break-even and overhead analyses. As part of these efforts, Jay has been instrumental in recommending, designing and implementing data collection and computer systems, conversion processes and corresponding control procedures.
As a CPA, Jay was responsible for firm billing and collections, establishing quality controls and setting and reviewing budget to actual results. He was also involved in firm pricing decisions, proposal writing, setting management policies, and reviewing staff and training needs.
